How Antimicrobial Technology Works

PureHandle® contain silver ions that prevent the growth of germs. The silver destroys the cell membrane of the germs and therefore blocks cell respiration and cell ingestion. Cell division stops; the germ dies. Due to the multiple mechanisms of action, development of resistance to the treatment used is virtually excluded. On the contrary, its effectiveness against multiresistant microorganisms.

Tested Efficacy.

PureHandle® products contain silver ions which are embedded in a carrier system of ceramic glass. They form an active part of this material and prevent the growth of germs such as virus, bacteria, algae and fungi. The silver ions destroy the cell membrane of the germ. This stops respiration and nutrition of the cells, so preventing cell division. The surface remains effective even when cleaned at regular intervals.
